About the Position

We are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for our client Befesa.

Lead, develop, and improve maintenance work in a circular industrial operation!

To continue the development of our operations, we are now seeking a Maintenance Manager with clear leadership and a strong focus on improvement. The role is central to ensuring high operational reliability, efficient maintenance, and a stable production process.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the maintenance organization, which consists of 22 employees. The employees work as mechanics and electricians, both during the day and on shift schedules. You will work both strategically and operationally and play an important role in the facility's continued development and change efforts.

The position is located in Landskrona. You will report to the Production Manager and be part of the production management team, closely collaborating with process, logistics, and other support functions.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading, planning, and following up on daily and long-term maintenance work
Ensuring high availability, operational reliability, and efficiency in the facility
Ensuring that employees within the maintenance organization develop and thrive
Developing, documenting, and standardizing routines, working methods, and processes within maintenance
Ensuring the right competence supply through training and development of employees
Planning and leading preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance
Ensuring that all maintenance work is planned, reported, and followed up in our maintenance system
Planning and executing shutdowns and maintenance stops in close collaboration with the process organization
Being responsible for budget, cost monitoring, and investments within maintenance
Contacting suppliers and contractors
Actively contributing to the facility's change and improvement efforts as a member of the production management team

Befesa Circular Alloys Sweden AB is a recycling company specializing in recycling metals from flue dust from Nordic steel mills. Through our operations, we actively contribute to the circular economy by returning valuable resources to society's cycles.

At our facility in Landskrona, approximately 85 employees work. Safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are fundamental values in our operations.

Pedagogical and experienced in developing both people and working methods

We see that you have:

Several years of experience in a leading position within maintenance in an industrial/process environment, preferably with experience from industries with high safety requirements
Good technical understanding of mechanics and/or electrical systems.
Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience
Experience with budget responsibility, planning, and supplier contacts
Ability to read and understand technical documentation, such as PLC and electrical diagrams
Experience with change and improvement work within maintenance
Safety work

Meritorious:

Electrical education and/or ECY certificate
